Building consents help ensure that large, complex projects meet the Building Code.
And the good news is, new rules introduced in August 2020 mean that some smaller projects no longer need a building consent, such as sheds, carports, verandas, and outdoor fireplaces.Not needing a consent will save you time and money, meaning you can get started on those projects you've been dreaming about.
